What is Louisiana Flood Relief?
In 2016, Louisiana had historic flooding and many people needed assistance in the way of supplies, information, and rescue. Catapult Creative Media built the Louisiana Flood Relief website to host all current information and accept donations for people affected by the flood.
The Challenge
This website had several challenges. The most prominent challenge was the time restraint. As the flood was an act of nature that happened extremely quickly, the entire Catapult team worked together to put up the site up as fast as possible. Content had to be written and posted quickly for people who needed help and also had to be continually updated during the flooding. Due to the nature of the situation, the content was written quickly and by multiple people. Monitoring, editing, and writing the content was a luxury in this stressful situation.
